- Palm OS Required
Our products for Palm PDA devices require at least Palm OS version 3.5.
- Memory Requirements
Because of the great number of GMPSoft resources you may use from
either RAM of your Palm PDA or an expansion card, it is very difficult to define the exact
amount of memory you must have on your handheld. To help you with that we have provided free full functional trial of
the products — you install the full volumes of the files to test and adjust the necessary system resources.
For example:
- If you use Bible With You for one Bible translation from RAM, provide
approximately 300Kb free RAM on your Palm PDA necessary for proper operation (besides
the memory required for installing the product's files in RAM or the card.)
- If you use more GMPSoft applications and Study Books (commentaries, Bible notes, lexicons)
from RAM or a card, you need to provide more free RAM for proper operation (critical requirements for
the free RAM vary from 700Kb to 1.3Mb.)
- Expansion Cards
GMPSoft Palm PDA applications use VFS to work with MMC, SD cards and Memory Sticks.
You may store both the application files (.prc type) and the databases (.pdb files) on an expansion card.
(Install the .prc files in \Palm\Launcher folder of the card.)

What does the (NBLH) in the product name mean?

| A: |
Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos (or NBLH) uses La Biblia de las Américas (LBLA) as the foundation for this new work. It was inspired by the growing demand of today's Hispanic in the United States of America and throughout all of Latin America. While La Biblia de las Américas uses the formal form of Spanish (Vosotros), the Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos uses the less formal form of Spanish (Ustedes) and incorporates features to help the reader deeply understand the text. Also, the NBLH continues its commitment to accuracy, while increasing clarity and readability. Vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure have been carefully revised for greater understanding and smoother reading for today's demanding Bible reader.
Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos is a faithful translation from the Sacred Scriptures as they were written from the original languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. This edition is presented as another contribution to the translation of the Sacred Scriptures in our language of today, in this beginning of the third millenium. It has been produced with the desire that the Message of the Word of God be presented in such a way that will help every reader study and understand His Word, whether the reader is seasoned in the gospel or is just starting to walk in the ways of the Lord.
The first edition of Nueva Biblia de los Hispanos is a true devotional treasure and a practical study instrument providing outlines and introductions to each of the 66 books of the Bible, with thousands of end-of-verse cross-references throughout the Bible to enrich your reading. Within the text, you'll find many important amplifications that clarify the reading and provides a deeper understanding to the Word of God. |
