Bible Commentaries With You books for use with the Bible With You software. Enjoy reading
and studying your favorite Bible translation on your Palm PDA, drawing from the insight provided by the
variety of classical commentaries such as Adam Clarke's, Matthew Henry's, John Gill's, Jamiesson-Fausset-Brown, John Wesley's, Scofield's Reference Notes, Treasury of David and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.
Upon ordering a License for Bible Commentaries Collection, you receive not only the complete
set of public domain English commentary books currently offered by GMPSoft, but also the right to use
for free each coming public domain English Bible Commentaries With You book.
Requires: Bible With You Palm OS software for any Bible translation.

- Palm OS Required
Our products for Palm PDA devices require at least Palm OS version 3.5.
- Memory Requirements
Because of the great number of GMPSoft resources you may use from
either RAM of your Palm PDA or an expansion card, it is very difficult to define the exact
amount of memory you must have on your handheld. To help you with that we have provided free full functional trial of
the products — you install the full volumes of the files to test and adjust the necessary system resources.
For example:
- If you use Bible With You for one Bible translation from RAM, provide
approximately 300Kb free RAM on your Palm PDA necessary for proper operation (besides
the memory required for installing the product's files in RAM or the card.)
- If you use more GMPSoft applications and Study Books (commentaries, Bible notes, lexicons)
from RAM or a card, you need to provide more free RAM for proper operation (critical requirements for
the free RAM vary from 700Kb to 1.3Mb.)
- Expansion Cards
GMPSoft Palm PDA applications use VFS to work with MMC, SD cards and Memory Sticks.
You may store both the application files (.prc type) and the databases (.pdb files) on an expansion card.
(Install the .prc files in \Palm\Launcher folder of the card.)

Palm Bible Commentaries Collection has grown with another Commentary Book.
GMPSoft has released Scofield Reference Notes commentary from 1917 and it has been added to the Bible Commentaries Collection bundle. Customers who have ordered the bundle may install and use the SCO commentary for free - only install an updated bible.prc and PADUnlock files.

GMPSoft has released Adam Clarke's Commentary to the Bible, acc, and as a English public
domain commentary it has been added to the Bible Commentaries Collection bundle. Customers
who have ordered the bundle may install and use the ACC for free - only an updated PADUnlock
file is needed.

GMPSoft has just released Version 6.0 of Bible With You for Palm OS and Pocket PC PDAs.
The new features in Version 6.0 are - support for Bible Images and support for Dictionaries,
providing pop-up definitions of the words in the Bible.

Adam Clarke was the most influential British Methodist in the generation after Wesley and also one of the greatest scholars of his age. His writings influenced the development of the doctrine of sanctification in the American Holiness movement. Clarke's Commentary shows his Godly respect for the Bible as well as his courage to give his opinion on many difficult and controversial questions.
Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible (1871) by
Robert Jamieson, A. R. Fausset and David Brown is renowned for its scholarship
and keen insight into the Scriptures. The authors, who had served as pastors in
England, were conservative in their theology, and, from first-hand pastoral experience,
were familiar with the needs of the everyday believer.
In 74 years John Gill (1697-1771) was able to acquire a scope of Biblical
knowledge and enjoy a degree of usefulness seldom attained by any man. He became
a profound scholar in the Rabbinical Hebrew and as a prolific produced many works,
including a commentary on the entire Bible. Gill pastored the Strict Baptist Church
(1720-1771), which evolved into the Metropolitan Tabernacle pastored by Charles
Spurgeon for over 35 years.
Originally written in 1706, Matthew Henry's six volume Complete Commentary
provides an exhaustive look at every verse in the Bible. Bible Commentaries
With You is a Bible study product, which consists of six databases -
plug-ins for Bible With You Palm PDA application and provides commentaries for
the verses in the Bible.
C. I. Scofield (1843 - 1921) developed a correspondence Bible study course that became the basis of the work for which he is chiefly remembered, the Scofield Reference Bible, a widely circulated and popular annotated study Bible that was first published in 1909 by Oxford University Press teaching the theology of dispensationalism devised in the nineteenth century by John Nelson Darby.
The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge has provided a cross-reference resource for Bible students worldwide for generations. The commentary contains over 500,000 entries with chronological data, chapter introductions, key word listings, and illustrative notes, as well as a series of scholars' notes and comments. This highly respected and nearly exhaustive compilation was developed by R.A. Torrey from references in Thomas Scott's Commentary and the Comprehensive Bible.
John Wesley translated, interpreted, and applied every Biblical passage in depth.
His New Testament Notes are official United Methodist Church doctrine. The OT notes
have been out of print for many years. Every preacher/teacher in the Wesleyan tradition
should read Wesley's Notes before going to the pulpit.
